YOUR NUMBERS. YOUR SCENARIOS.

SalesSignal
Profit & Loss Calculator

What could improving your sales results be worth? Start with your numbers, explore a potential recovery, and see what remains after costs.

Illustrative numbers are prefilled. Replace them with your own. All amounts are USD. Calculations happen in your browser; entries are not saved or included in the booking link.

01 / YOUR BASELINE

Start with real sales numbers

Enter sales and opportunities for these 3 months. Switching the period changes subscription costs; it does not scale your entered sales totals.

How do you want to enter revenue?

Use gross revenue from the same won opportunities and period entered below, before costs. Exclude recurring or unrelated sales.

Total for the whole team, including won and missed deals.

Won deals ÷ qualified opportunities × 100.

Your totals imply 90 won deals and $5,000 revenue per won deal.

02 / EXPLORE AN IMPROVEMENT

What would it mean for your business to recover those missed deals?

This is a hypothetical assumption you choose, not a forecast or a promised SalesSignal outcome.

Recovery is a share of the deals you did not win, not a percentage-point increase in your win rate. The model assumes similar deal values and the capacity to deliver the extra sales.

03 / INCLUDE THE COSTS

How would you use that extra revenue?

Enter 0 if no commission applies.

Include all costs to provide the extra products or services, such as inventory, fulfillment or delivery. Do not count commission or SalesSignal again.

Subscription cost scales with seats.

Projects the results for your selected 3 months over a full year. Assumes the same sales performance, recovery, commission and delivery costs repeat throughout the year, with the same seats and monthly plan price. This is an illustration, not a forecast.

ROI is estimated profit or loss divided by SalesSignal investment, not a percentage increase in revenue.

COMPARE POSSIBILITIES

One set of costs. Several recovery scenarios.

All scenarios use your entered economics. None is a forecast. Select a scenario to explore it above.

How the calculation works and what it does not show

Won deals = qualified opportunities × current win rate. In actual-sales mode, average deal value = your entered sales revenue ÷ won deals. In deal-value mode, current revenue = won deals × average deal value.

Missed-deal value = unwon opportunities × average deal value. Additional revenue = missed-deal value × the recovery percentage you choose. Commissions and delivery costs are deducted from that additional revenue. The SalesSignal subscription is then deducted to estimate incremental profit or loss.

Yearly SalesSignal investment = seats × monthly price per seat × 12. Yearly estimated profit or loss = the selected-period result ÷ selected months × 12. ROI = yearly estimated profit or loss ÷ yearly SalesSignal investment × 100. ROI is undefined when the investment is zero.

This is a scenario model, not a full company profit-and-loss statement or evidence that training caused revenue. It assumes the same opportunity volume, similar value and cost for won and recovered deals, and the ability to fulfill extra sales. It excludes taxes, financing, fixed overhead, timing of cash receipts and any costs you have not entered. No improvement or return is guaranteed.
